Volcán Osorno , near the cities of Puerto Montt and Puerto Varas,
is on the slopes of the Fuji-like Osorno Volcano. It overlooks Lago Llanquihue in the Chilean Lake District. Flights and
bus service are available from Santiago to Puerto Montt. Shuttle and taxi service are available from Puerto Montt and Puerto Varas.
The top lift served elevation is
1760 meters. The base elevation is 1230 meters. There are trails
for all ability levels and some off piste skiing. Cerro Castor
has 3 lifts, including 2 chairlifts. The resort also offers snowcat runs. The city of Puerto Varas offers
several lodging options for all budgets.
