El Colorado Debuts Lift
The Three Valleys resort, El Colorado, opens for the first time in 2009 a t-bar on the Cono Este side of the mountain. The lift has a length of 1200 meters and a vertical drop of almost 300 meters. It will primarily serve intermediate terrain on 7 new trails.

The base of the new "La Copa" lift is at 2955 meters above-sea-level, and it is situated near the base of "Cono Este" t-bar. The top elevation reaches 3240 meters and serves the Olympic Valley area of the Cono Este. Valle Nevado is easily accessed from this part of the mountain. For the official news release click below.
