Most people fly into Santiago or Buenos Aires.
Airfares from New York are anywhere from $800 to $1500 for economy
class. Fares from Miami are about $200 less expensive. Package
deals are sometimes less expensive than purchasing trip components
separately.
Several excellent tour companies are dedicated
to ski and snowboard trips to Chile and Argentina. For example,
PowderQuest,
which has been in operation for several years, offers regular
all-inclusive tours, as well as specialized backcountry trips.
They also run several different ski and snowboard camps, and
also a special Burton Learn-to-Ride program.
