In 1995 I started this guide as a final project
for the January term class, Hitchhiker's Guide to the Internet,
at Middlebury College. My experience in Chile includes several separate
trips from North America, a visit to most Chilean ski resorts, 2
seasons ski instructing (1 at Chapa Verde and 1 at Villarrica-Pucon),
travel from Arica to Punta Arenas (Chile's most Northern to most
Southern cities), and a semester of study at the Pontificada Universidad
Catolica in Santiago. I am an avid skier and snowboarder.
While this site tries to stay current, please contact
resorts directly for most up-to-date information, such as rates,
trail maps, snow-phone numbers, etc.
